On June 3rd I set out on foot with 11 other runners. We started in Bellingham WA on the beach of the ocean and made a 108 mile round trip journey to the 10,781 ft glaciated summit of Mt Baker and back. On April 17th my friend Dan Probst of Cascade Mountain Runners and I made an early season summit of Mount Baker. We saw a brilliant weather window and decided Saturday night to give it a shot.
